About Cedar united methodist Church

Cedar United Methodist Church began in 1899, filing it's incorporation papers with Anoka County February 6, 1900. It's earliest history began with classes at home and schools in opposite sides of Cedar Creek in 1892. The railroad came through in 1899 which led to the merger of the classes into a congregation, and building it's first church in Cedar. The congregation moved to a new building site in 1986, in Ham Lake, but continued under the name of Cedar United Methodist Church.
